PSG.LGD, the Chinese team sponsored by a French soccer organization, announced on Monday that they are keeping their roster intact for the new Dota 2 competitive season.
This iteration of the squad, which has been together since the start of 2018, certainly earned their way into their reputation as of late. PSG.LGD had an end-of-season push into third place in the Dota Pro Circuit with two first-place wins and two in second, quickly becoming the top-performing squad from China.
At The International 8, they finished out in the upper bracket of their group, but fell to eventual champions OG Dota. The two teams met for a rematch in what’s already considered one of the most dramatic matches in Dota 2 history. This coming year, they’re hoping to at least replicate their results.
The players on this roster are as follows:
- Wang “Ame” Chunyu
- Yang “Chalice” Shenyi
- Xu “fy” Linsen
- Lu “Somnus ` M” Yao
- Yap Jian “xNova” Wei
They will be coached by Yao “357” Yi, also known as “QQQ,” who has been with the team since the start or 2017 after coaching LGD Forever Young through their strong TI7 run.
