How to watch Dota Summit 7, streams and schedule

The classic, all-around-good-time Dota 2 tournament runs through Sunday.

The time of the half-year has come: eight teams have converged onto Southern California to battle for $100,000 and a championship title. To newcomers, the venue might seem odd, though: it takes place in a house owned by studio Beyond The Summit. Yes, a plain old, actual house.

Fans have fallen in love with Dota Summit, the semi-annual tournament run by BTS (not to be confused with the K-Pop boy band), for its casual atmosphere and sense of brotherhood. It includes rounds of the party game Mafia and “couch casts” where all the casters sit together in in the living room, kitchen displayed in the full view of the camera.

Despite the light-hearted vibes, the competition is serious, and Dota Summit never fails to bring good Dota 2 to fans across the world. The teams are among the best of the world, and $42,500 isn’t a small first prize.

The event has already started, but if you’re finally settling into the weekend, it’s not too late to catch the matches. We’ll catch you up to speed on what’s taking place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

All events can be watched on the official BTS Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/beyondthesummit
